I'm designing a web page in indesign, the manual talks about being able to import HTMLs but can I import an animation created in image ready and then export as a HTML keeping the animation information?

I'd like to know either way because if I can't I'll just have to do it another way.

InDesign is a print design application, not web design. The HTML import and export functions are crude.

If the animated GIF does not export from InDesign, simply replace the single-frame exported GIF with the original animated GIF after InDesign exports the folder of images.

I agree with jimoblak... ID's web capabilities are crude at best, the HTML is deplorable, the results will be amateurish if you are lucky.

If you are not adept at web site design, Microsoft FrontPage is an inexpensive and easy to learn app. or a little more, DreamWeaver (my preference) is the web design app by which all others are judged.

Also, if you do a search for 1stpage2000, you will have one of the finest FREE web design apps that has many advanced features. It kicks the pants off of FrontPage and is close to the capabilities of DreamWeaver.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
