Designer Formula Question (DateTime)

Good Morning,

Can someone please tell me how to convert SSSS (Seconds since midnight) to HH:MI in Universe Designer? For example 55,080 = 3:18 PM

This is simple enough in Crystal
TimeSerial (0,0,55080)

but I cannot for the life of me figure it out in Oracle. I have tried to_timestamp and to_date but keep getting 'invalid hour' messages.

PLEASE HELP!!!

You can get creative with the following functions:

Mod, To_Char, Trunc and ||:

Trunc(Mod(<field in SSSSS format>,3600))

will net you the hour part.

I have no Oracle database at hand, otherwise I would have given you the entire expression..
