Hi,

I need some ideas that how can I develop below report,

I have requirement in that I have to display employees who has made expense above average for department. And report should display average for whole department. Report is grouped on department.

Report format is like,

Hotel Transport Meal Travel Total

Sales Dept $1200 $900 $300 $1500 $3900 <- Avg for all employee

Mr. Posees $2000 $800 $350 $1300 $4450
Mr. Wu $1200 $1200 $250 $1400 $4050
Mr. Liang $1100 $800 $250 $2000 $4150

Here in report it displays only employee who has total expense higher then total average expense for all employees from sales department (First line).

I’m using CR 10 with Oracle.

Any idea how I can achieve this in Crystal?

Thanks in Advance,

Ido,

Can you please describe in detail?

Thanks,

Right-click on the detail section and choose Format Section. Then choose the formula icon (x+2 and a pencil) for suppression. Enter a formula; e.g.
@total <= @avergage. That should leave the rest displayed.
