I am moving a question I just asked to a new question.
The task:
Placing a blob field containing mostly .doc or .rtf objects in form, specifically in a visual file folder on a form.
The challenge: In a recent newly built form with a blob field containing documents the documents could be opened, but they were not visible when scrolling through the records. Reinserting the field as an expandable text field did not resolve the problem, although creating a new form under the same conditions functioned to a point. I have this set up in an older form with a different db, and it works very well.
Partial solution: Creating a new form and copying over the field setup from the original allows the field to be viewed when not in focus.
However: Left clicking on the container causes the following error: An error occurred when trying to get the property named Design.
Containobjects of the object named notepage #351, etc.
I received the same error in the first form I used with this particular table.
I have enabled contain objects in the object explorer without any success. The option is greyed out in the properties interface.

Does anyone know what this is about?
