Hello,

I am using FMS Total Access Emailer to send bulk emails (AKA around 50 at a time). FMS Emailer basically reads in a query to determine who to email. I am not restricted to using FMS Emailer to send these, but my question remains.

What is the best way of deselecting some records from a query and then saving those that remain into a table?

I want to do this as I want to run a query to return email addresses (and some other fields), but then allow the user to deselect a record if they do not want to include that particular email.

Is it possible without having a bound field in the underlying table? Im a bit stuck trying to think this one thorugh.

Many thanks Mark

You could simply save all the records into an "intermediate table" and in that table include a Boolean field if you do not want to include a "selected" field in the underlying table. The user could then deselect those not to include. Then on that form have a button to insert/append into your final table that would run an insert where selected = true. Or you could just delete from your "intermediate" table.
