Deselect cell in Excell 2

When my code completes, the last cell that was copied remains selected. How can I deselect this via code, as if I had pressed the ESC key? I've tried sendkeys "{ESC}", but nothing happens, and I error if I try Range("N2&quot.selection = False.

Application.CutCopyMode = False
