Ok, I actualy document some of my queries. Unfortunatly, when viewing the database with details clicked, I can see only Modified, Created and Type. No Description.
Huh.
Can somebody please tell me how to get that field back? And WHY it went away?
I have tried "cycling the power supply", this a problem that has been here for DAYS now!

Did you resize the column by accident? Columns in the detail view can be resized like they can in excel (or datasheets of tables/queries). Hover the mouse over the lines and look for the T bar and drag the column to the right. HTH

Whoops - This is a shared database, about 5 users. After writing this note I was informed that this has happened before. One of the other users hates the comments field because it "looks cluttered". Every time they notice that it is wide enough to view they squeeze it over till it is not viewable anymore. This explains why the field is in the habit of vanishing....
Thank you very much!
I will now crawl off somewhere and berate myself for being an idiot!
