DESC field on ICLOC 1

I am trying to set a Remote View using ODBC connection to ACCPAC Database but when I try to use the DESC field on the Remote View select statement it gives me an error message and doesn't allow me to use it,
Connectivity error:[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near to keyword 'DESC'

DESC is an SQL keyword, you need to use "DESC", 'DESC' or [DESC] depending on what you are doing.
