DES Encryption

I need to know a simple way of encrypting 6 or 8 digit numbers using DES single encryption. Either a piece of software or I can create some web app that can do it for me.. (not sure what coding to use though - preferrably ASP)

Have you ever seen a program called CAIN? If you get this program it has tools that will allow you to encrypt passwords alpha or numeral, all you do is type what you want & it will show the encrypt for the number or letter.

Thanks.. but I couldn't really find the software.. only one called Cain & Able which didn't seem to do what I wanted.. it only recovers Microsoft Software passwords it seems..

Do you have a link to the software you mentioned.. ??

Would really appreciate any help.. this is very, very urgent now!!!

What level of crypto do you need?
At the tool bar, top side on the right is a crypto gen.

I can't see any tools at all that enable me to input, for example a 10 digit number and then encrypt it using DES single encryption..

I have downloaded version 2.5 .. that is the only one available on the site...

Can you help me?
