Deriving median using Informatica

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone know how to derive at the median value for a set of given values using Informatica functions? Do I use an expression transformation? If so, what function will I need to use?

You will probably have to work something out with the rank transformation. Getting the median or middle value will need you to first establish how many values there are for a certain dimension.
You can do this quite nicely using ranking.I presume the values are stored in seperate recordsets? After using the rank transformation you can establish the max on the rank for each dimension giving a handle to work out the middle value......
