Depreciation Issue in Norming Asset management 5.2B

ACCPAC 5.2(All modules - latest SPs) / NAM 5.2b (SP2)
MS SQL Server 2000

Series of events :
1.At the end of the year, adjustments were passed to correct depreciation.
2.These adjustments appeared in the depreciation batch list.
3.The adjustments were posted.(2006-12)
4.Depreciation still has to be run in this month.(2006-12)
5.Depreciation for the month cannot be run because of the following error message "This period depreciation has been processed"

In other words the system has read the adjustments as being the complete depreciation for the month.

Any solutions ?

Restore from backup.
Run depreciation 2006/12.
Do adjustments.

Would you know whether it is advisable to copy across the old files from my Asset Management backup so that I do not
have to restore the entire backup.

If so which are the files to be copied across ?
