Hi, I have a VB application that I am trying to deploy on a number of client computers. On one computer it installs fine but on another (OS - Windows Milenium) it tells me System files are out of date and asks me to reboot. I have rebooted many times but this does not solve the problem and I am unable to run setup. I have also run windows update and even reinstalled all of the software. Is it an OS problem? Is there any way to get around it?

Thanks for your help

Jenn

It seems you ran into a problem with DLL-dependencies. Also known as DLL-Hell. Most likely the DLL('s) you are trying to install do not match with one or more of the DLL's already present on the machine. The corresponding DLL's in your setup that do match won't install because they are older than the ones already present. You'll have to use a program like Dependency Walker to find out which DLL's cause the problem.
