Deployment of Access2003 db problems

Can anyone guide me to articles and/or sample code to overcome Access2003 database deployment problems? Specifically, work arounds or solutions to problems caused by earlier versions of access on the target computer. I am deploying a database program developed in Access2003. The problem is earlier versions of access are on the target machines thus causing errors. Access version not the same, database can't recognize old version, etc.. Also macros for opening and closing forms aren't working either.
