Hello,

I'm looking for ways to deploy XP in a corporate environment. I've built images and used sysprep in the past but out number of images it starting to become a little unmanageable. We have new hardware released every 3 or so months and have 2 builds per hardware platform. Images are ghosted and saved to DVD.

I've been thinking of running with unattended installs but don't know much about them as I've always been put off in the past due to network limitations etc.

Anyone got any tips for reading materials, websites or forums of people doing similar stuff where I can ask stupid questions?

Thanks
Matthew

Lots of good stuff here
I am looking at this too and sysprep provided with win2k3 and xp lets you build a single image for multiple machines so long as include the mass storage devices and include any drivers (oempnpdriverspath) that are not on the xp/win2k3 cd.

There is a good white paper here
So far I have managed to use an image from a dell gx1 on a gx110 and gx280 so it does seem to work.
