Deploying via IP addresses

Need help badly. Just took over ePO from someone who left the company, and now I need to set up another ePO server for a regional office.

First, I need to deploy the agent and updates from the new ePO server to all the other servers at that location. So since there are only about 8 servers, I created a group called Servers and manually typed in the name of all my servers, sent out the agents and dat files, and that is working.

Now I need to send out the agent and updates to all the workstations. I don't want to have to add in the names of each workstation manually since there are about 300, so I created a group called Workstations, and under the IP Management box, I typed in the IP range of all my workstations.

So now, I can expand my Servers group and see all my servers. But when I look under my Workstation group, I don't see anything. Is that supposed to be the way it is, or should I see ALL the workstations under the IP range, and if so, is it sorted by IP address?

When I run a report, it says 100% of all the computers are updated. However, it only lists the servers.

Right now, the current ePO server at our office is set up so that if there is a new computer on the network, I have to manually add it in to the list of workstations or servers. For any computers taken off the network, I have to manually delete it. The old employee used to have to do this for all the computers added/removed from the network. This is an administrative nightmare since there are more than 500 computers.

Please help if you have any suggestions or examples of how your company has set this up. Thanks!
