I am trying to deploy a small agent file to about 200 XP sp2 boxes.
I have created the share for the file and gave domain computers full under both NTFS and Shared Permission.
I used the UNC path to assign the object in Group Policy.
It waits for Network Connections
It installs successfully on about 1/2 of the computers that I pushed it to, but the other 1/2 fails with the message:
"The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it"
It is not an issue with rights or the .msi file b/c it works on some of the computers.
Does anybody have any idea as to why it would fail on some computers and work just as expected on others.
