Deploying Patches through Group Policy

I've been googling this for a while now, but I can't seem to find an answer. Basically, I want to know if it's possible to push out msp files directly to clients, or do I need to apply it to the admin install and then redeploy the package again?

Also, if I have 150 PC's which all have an application assigned to them - will it burden down my server much when they all start installing it at startup - seing that most PC's will startup at roughly the same time. Is there any possibility of the install failing because of the server being too busy?
