Deploying a finished application

Hi all,

I have completed my dissertation which is also for a company. I can run the program via dos but I have no idea how to implement a java application with a desktop icon. Please can someone highlight what is required.

Hi!

My suggestion is that you download the free installer from ZeroG at

http://www.installanywhere.com.

Then you collect all your .class-files for your application. It's the .class-files that are your compiled program, the .java-files are for no use in application deployment.
