Will the deploy tools for SAV CE 8.1 not work if a previous retail version of NAV is installed on a workstation? I've had to manually go around to each machine and uninstall NAV 200x for the deploy to work. That totally defeats the handiness of the deploying tool.

deploy SAV over previous install

I upgraded from NAV 7.61 CE to SAV 8.1, and I had install issues, but these didnt relate to deploying SAV to clients.My deploys all went fine
SAV 8.1 is able to manage clients that are running earlier versions i.e NAV 8.0 or 7.XX.
But you may have to uninstall your previous version, cus Nortons 20XX isnt the same beast as the CE versions.

We are getting ready to upgrade to SAV 8.1 and we've been told by symanted to first uninstall 7.5, reboot then install. I have over 58 managers to upgrade. Needless to say I wasn't to happy.
