Deploy Outlook 2003 rules to all Users

Hi,

Exchange 2003 and all clients use Outlook 2003. What i want to know is if there is a way i can create some rules in Outlook and deploy these to all users without them having to do anything.

Best bet is to create the rules you want (tempplate of sorts) then after you have it refined export the rules (will be "somename.rwz") and send to all users and then in a very simple message have them simply open outlook, choose tools-rules-import

Can you copy the rules file to their profile and have it import automatically. or can I use a .BAT to install the rule automatically

You could do it either of the way you mentioned. However, doing it that way overwrites any rules the user may have set up. Exporting and then importing is the only way to ensure that their own set of rules aren't overwritten.
