Deploy - internal error occurred

A report that I had been updating and deploying during the edits suddenly would not deploy. (Other reports can be deployed to same server, same data source.) In VS, the error is "An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details." Trying to upload in Report manager gives the same error but adds "rsInternalError".

What error log is this putting details in and why would this suddenly occur?
