Anyone know what a DEPLOCK is and how to clear/reset it?

Reason: we have a site down the site is connected to us via corrnet. The PEN says that it is in DEPLOCK mode. I have no clue; I opened a ticket with SIEMENS and am WAITING....

Thanks

It means the circuit was locked out by dependability checking rather than you doing it manually via AMO which usually shows up as LOCK/AMO. It probably happened because the circuit went down and stayed down for a longer than "normal" period of time.

I have seen dependability lockouts for the old tape drives and hard disks on other models but have never seen a circuit locked out that way yet.

Since it's already down you can't really hurt anything - you could try DEA-DSSU to deactivate all the channels and then DEA-BSSU to deactivate the board, followed by ACT-BSSU and then ACT-DSSU to try and bring it back up.

Things to keep in mind - if this is a 4000 it might be a dual-span card and you would need to know which span you need to mess with. If you take both spans down (if both are in use) you could knock out a second circuit.

I would also do DIS-BSSU before deactivating the board. This can give you statistics that may be useful in troubleshooting your problem. Sometimes when you do DEA-BSSU those statistics are cleared - especially if you tank out and reseat the card.

thanks the tech called me and asked me to deact the pen the corrent was attached and then react.

It worked!
