Hello.

I'm trying to design a cube with a couple of dimensions, 2 of which are dependent dimensions.

I've set the property 'Depends on dimension' in the dimension editor, but it doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone explain what actions have to be taken in order of it to work? (or perhaps a tiny example cube)

Thanx!

Galactico,

Sounds like you need to build a snowflake dimension where one dimension is more or less a sub-dimension of the another dimension. An example would be a Department Dimension that is snowflaked into a Category Dimension that is snowflaked into a Product Dimension.

FYI, this may not be the most efficient way of doing it.
