I have a deduction setup to where the employee participates in a dependent care plan. I have the deduction type set as Cafeteria Plan/DC. However, it will not show up on the W2 in box 10. Does anyone have any ideas as to why.
Note: When I view the w2 screen from their master employee information, it shows the correct amount in the box labeled Cafeteria Plan/DC. But when I actually print w2's, it doesn't show up anywhere. Someone told me that it is not required to show up on the w2, is this true??
