I've had a problem with people using my Domino server as an Open Relay after I rebuilt it and failed to apply the deny settings. I've stopped the server from being an Open Relay, but Spam servers are still connecting to my SMTP service and trying to send mail (which is failing due to the Policy I've enabled).

How do I block these servers from connecting to me. I've already added their IP addresses (bound in brackets) in the Configuration Document\Restrictions and Controls\SMTP Inbound Controls\Inbound Connection Controls\Deny Connections from the following SMTP IP Addresses (I've also rebooted after applying these settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
You need to use DNS Blacklists. If you are using Domino 6 and the Domino server is the first server receiving the SMTP mail (i.e. no relays between the sender and your Domino server) then Domino can be configured to use DNS Blacklists. If you use another SMTP server to recieve your e-mail which then forwards on to Domino (e.g. Mailsweeper, Trend Viruswall), then these can also be configured fo DNS Blacklist sites.
