Hi,

Is there a way, through VBA, to deny some parts of a Word document from being printed? For instance: to leave out the header and the footer.

Thanx for any replies.

Well kind of...sort of...not really. I mean, if someone is determined to get at a chunk of a document, and they know what they are doing...the answer is NO.

You can make the chunk hidden text...but someone can just change Options to print hidden text.

You can make things fields...but someone can just change Options to print Fields.

You do a re-write of the Print command to delete the chunks you do not want printed, then put them back after the print is spooled...but this is some serious dangers to it.

Why do you need this?
