Someone is trying to bring my Exchange server down by BOMBARDING me with a wrong email account in my domain. The trouble is that my notification account is filling up with undelivered error because no account exist. Also, my queue is filling up.

I pretty much have all the patches. What else remedies can I take against this?

What authorities/website can I go to combat this?

How can I deny or delete incoming mail to a single internal email address? Thanks.

For a quick short term fix. Create a maibox with the username that is bad so that mail is delivered. Open Outlook for that account and set a rule to delete all mail as it comes into the inbox.
Why? because then there are no bounce messages to send out, so your traffic will be reduced.

If the email is all coming from one domain, deny access to that domain on the IMS.

Report to the SpamCop site for a good starting point.

good luck,
Dana
