The following message appears 'DEMO:Full msdb log', do I need to do anything with the log file eg. shrink it. If so can anyone tell me how to do this.

Many thanks

Unless you've changed the MSDB database it should be in simple recovery mode. This means that the log will be cleared automatically. If you have an unusual amount of data in there I can see the log growing but it should be fairly small. Make sure that your hard drive isn't full. That's the usual cause of this for the system databases.
