Hello. I have been called into a company that has a Delphi based program and the programmer is no longer around (out of Country). There are changes that are needed. I am an Access and/or Paradox programmer. There seems to be an executable and other files (.dfm files etc.) Is there a way access these forms/reports/data? Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

The .dfm files are the form
The .pas files are the units

The .dpr file is the project.

If you open Delphi and navigate to the correct folder, you will be able to open the .dpr file. Once the project is open you can choose to open the form or open the unit (the first two speed buttons on the tool bar). Once the form and unit are open you can see the source code in the unit and change the form just like in Access.

Does that answer your question?

Leslie
