Hi there:
I was wondering if it was possible to edit Paradox tables with Delphi? I'm not really sure how this whole compatibility thing works at all... newbie, afterall. Any info would be great, thanks!

I have not used Delphi since it's initial 32 bit release, however you could manipulate paradox tables (they were, in fact, the preferred tables) back then and I assume nothing has changed.

soks2626,

Yes, it's definitely possible, though I'm not sure I'd say Paradox was the "preferred" table format. In recent versions, Borland has gone to great lengths to create a more flexible way of working with any database format, including the Paradox format.

Hope this helps...

Paradox Tables can be used with Delphi-6 and past versions of Delphi. you can also used SQL within Delphi on the Paradox Tables, Switch Indexs, etc. What do you need to do with the Paradox table within Delphi?
