delphi adoquery results

Hello,
I have a delphi database application, I am using sql 2005 and adoconnection adodataset and adoquery for the connection. I have some records in the database some with english characters otgers with greek. When I run the query and enter english characters the query has the correct results when I use greek characters the query gives wrong or no results. The codepage of the database is Greek_CI_AS.

what components do you use to visualize your data?
standard vcl components do not support unicode.

Yes,
I use standard vcl components, dbedit's. What shall I use?

2 options:

- upgrade to Delphi 2009, it supports unicode

- look at tms components, they have unicode support:
