That may be a complete stupid question, but I a going to ask. I just got a 64 bit computer running Vista. If i install Delphi 2007 on it, would i be able to compile both 32bit and 64bit version of my software? Is there an advantage of doing that? If it is possible, where can i find info on how to do it?
Thanks.

If the development environment doesn't explicitly support 64-bit builds, then it will not be able to do it in any environment. As I recall, Delphi 2007 does not support 64-bit builds, so you won't be able to do it.

I'm waiting for the white paper entitled "Finding Employment in the Era of Occupational Irrelevancy

64 bit compiler output has (finally) been added to the Delphi 2010 toolchain that was released a few weeks ago.
