I can't get Samsung DVD drives to run on DELL 4100s running WinME. I've tried various patches/downloads, new DVD drive, new motherboard, new video card -- NO LUCK!!! I've observed two behaviours: either the sound & video skip every 3 or 4 seconds (the movie keeps playing, but it's a total nuisance), or the movie plays without skipping, but every 6 or 7 seconds the image flickers and darkens for about a second, then reverts to normal, but when it does this, it does not affect the sound as with the other scenario. Any suggestions?
