Just got a new Dell for the office and the thing is already giving us grief. Whenever we start the laptop Windows freaks out and requires me to start it up from a black screen. When it is up and running it tells me that Windows has recovered from a serious error.

Should I reload the OS and try to see if that works or do you think I can just send it back to Dell.

I didn't have time to wait on there tech support line so I thought I'd check here.

Just got a new Dell for the office

This is a case where you should utilize your warranty. Possibly shipping damage, hard to say with your description, but I would definitely recommend returning a problem child PC.
