Hi,

My new job is to repare DELL servers.

For this, I need a web link to find the part-numbers for many DELL PowerEdge servers and PowerVault Array disks.

Can you help me ?
The DELL website always ask me a serial number.

Thanks

The serial numbers will identify what parts were shipped on that system or disk array. You can usually find the s/n on the back of the server. It's a very visible barcode and number. The disk arrays have the serial on the left side of the Clariion next to the disk 0 position.

OK,

Are there few web links to find parts numbers ?

Thanks

I just have a Dell contact I phone regarding parts, not sure if they offer a facility to query their parts database directly though.

Using the service tag, go to support.dell.com and lookup the original config for the box. That has part numbers.

Thank you.

The better way is (effectivelly) to use Service Tag from support.dell.com
