I am looking at purchasing a Dell SC 1430 for my business, and am wondering if someone can answer a couple questions for me.
My first question is about the CD/DVD drive. Dell is charging $99 to add a drive to the system, and I just can't see this being a standard IDE drive for that price. Does anyone know if this motherboard supports IDE drives, because I will purchase a separate drive and install it myself if so.
My other question is simply a confirmation that Windows 2003 server CALs can be installed on a by user basis. I have about 14 users and 25 computers, so I'm hoping 15 or 20 CALs will cover what I need by installing the CALs on a Per Seat - Per User license.
