Dell R640 Drive Replacement

We are on CM 8.1.3 on Dell R640 Avaya servers (VMWareEXSi 6.5) and have a failed drive (600GB, SAS 12 GB, 10K) in slot 2.
We are not currently under an Avaya support agreement and want to know if we can source and replace this drive or does it have a customized configuration?

 
check the service tag on the Dell support page, if it's less than 3 yrs old you may have manufacturers warranty still.

Failing that the service tag will tell what type of drive it was shipped with.
 
I ran into this on Dell R620 servers awhile back. I just bought the same drive from a computer vendor and swapped it. No issue.
