Hello,

I have 2 drives in a PC and would like to remove the 2nd drive (Drive D) and just use the C Drive. When I remove the 2nd drive and try to boot, I get an error that says:

PXE-E61 Media Test Failure
PXE-MOF Exiting PXE

After this I cant boot. Dont understand whats going on here, any help would be appreciated. Joel

After a few searches on google, it seems that most people suggest that you turn off PXE options in the CMOS Setup. You may have to remove the option to boot from LAN from your boot order.

I hope that this points you in the right direction. Mudskipper

Oh yeah, also while in CMOS setup, make sure that the second hard drive is not still set up in there--make sure that it is set to None or Auto. Mudskipper
