Hi,

I have one of the above servers with a flashing orange light containing the following - E0212 Volt CPU core. Has anyone come across it before and know of a fix for it. I have the latest Bios version 10 and firmware ESM version A02.

Any ideas would be appreicated

Thanks

J.

Being a 2650 I would assume that this system is not very old and should still be covered by Dell's warranty. I'd be contacting Dell and getting them out to fix it. It's certainly not an error that I would like on one of my server and it should be looked at right away.

Thanks - have had Dell out to replace the Motherboard and the VSM on the machine - so hoping thats the end of it. I thought it may be a theshold setting that needs adjusting, but not sure where.

Depending on the exact error, there is a patch for the Server Administrator versions 1.2 and 1.21. Without this patch the server will report CPU core Voltage problems, within 7 reboots. Once you run the patch reboot the box and the error will never come back. File name: SAIS470-471BWin.exe

FYI: The 2650 is different on updates, there is also a ERA update that needs to done along with the Bios and ESM. The ERA update is very important even if you do not use the remote access card, it controlls a lot of ESM information on the motheboard, like fans and CPUs.
