Our office ordered several Dell Precision 470's with Seagate Hard Drive's. Most of them crashed. I'm wondering: Did Dell make a faulty batch of computer's? I'm not understanding why so many of the computer's we have ordered would crash. Any feedback you would have would be great, thanks!

There could be several reasons for those computers developing faults. If they all have the same symptoms, hard disk failure for instance, then it could be down to a bad batch of hard drives; or more likely the shipment sustained damage during transit. With so many computers failing in close succession, you can put pressure on Dell to bulk replace them rather than repair - just keep on at them, they'll give ;)

Are they all connecting to the internet? Firewalls all switched off? If networked together, perhaps they've all been worm'd or trojan'd...?

Please explain crash...did the hdd's fail and need replacing, or is it a software issue, and a reimage fixed the issue. Was there a blue screen, a noise? computers froze and stopped responding? did the drives fail seatools diags from seagate?
