Dell Powevault - Voltage Error

Hi all,

I have a Dell Powervault 745N and I had this error last night:


Voltage sensor detected a failure value
Sensor location: 2.6V MB
Chassis location: Main System Chassis
Previous state was: OK (Normal)
Voltage sensor value (in Volts): 1.521


Please go to the server Web UI to check the server's status.

I have checked the server this morning and it is all fine and running as normal.

Any ideas what caused this and do I need to take further action?

Hi Gavin,
If you have dell server administrator installed the you can browse to the server using

https://<servername>:1311

and login using an admin account to view the server status etc

PS Dell server administrator is included on the "dell openmanage systems management" CD
