Dell powervault 715NAS password

We have a 715N that we can no longer communicate with. We cannot get to it via serial cable (proper pinouts) or the network interface using the "DellXXXX"... XXXX being the service tag. All this, while using a cross over cable to attempt entry.

We dropped it onto a DHCP network and upon scanning the network no other unit (715N) was found on the network. Any help with this problem is appreciated.
