I have a Dell Optiplex GX280 at work that, when I was called about it, was not booting. I listened to the beeps coming from it (two long, followed by two short) and thought I diagnosed it to the memory. I replaced the memory in it with new memory (2x256mb ddr2-3200) and it stopped beeping when it went through POST. However it no longer has any video output. What might be the cause of this? (I'm using the integrated video adapter.)

How about putting the original memory back in. And while you have the case open look for bulging capicitors.

This model has a history with power supplies, also.

Amen, brother.
