My boss dropped her Dell J740 inkjet printer. The case "door" is now disconnected from the rest of the printer. I'm a decent PC tech, but I have no idea where this tiny circuit board w/quarter inch wide ribbon is supposed to be attached. We have no other printers like this, so nothing to compare it to for an idea.
Naturally, it's out of warranty, and I cannot find any diagram or schematic info on the Internet. Can anyone recommend a reliable source of repair for this printer, or am I just as well to run to OfficeMax and pick up an HP or Lexmark inkjet and toss this in the trash?
