Hello all,

I received an old Dell Inspiron hand-me-down laptop. It has a modem and a Linksys Wireless-B Notebook Adapter Model No. WPC11 Ver. 4. The Linksys adapter works fine and shows connected. The OS is Windows 2000. I don't know how to make a wireless connection to the Internet with Windows 2000. The connection wizard doesn't have a wireless connection option. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

Windows 2000 doesn't have a wireless option because Wireless wasn't around yet.

Normally wireless adapters come with their own wireless manager, so you should be able to use that, assuming its properly installed.

If its not installed, you'll have to look for a Wireless manager to download.

That's weird, I just dealt with a blue screen issue with a WPC11 Ver. 4 yesterday. But NOT on windows 2000.
