DELL D620 ISSUE... ERROR WHEN USING PROJECTOR

I have a users new D620 Dell laptop... everytime I plug in a projector and function f8, it starts having a wierd issue... its almost like the scroll pad gets stuck.

its hard to explain... if I open a window and scroll all the way down, it auto scrolls up. Once I move the cursor out of the window it stops scrolling. Put the cursor back and off it goes again. Ive tried swapping the system board. Ive also tried reinstalling the drivers for the touch pad. Ive made sure that auto-scroll is turned off as well.

Please any ideas would be greatly appriciated

ONLY when you have the projector connected? Have you tried it with a monitor instead? Probably get the same results but try it anyway to be sure.
