DELL D610 laptop

Hi,

I have a DELL D610 laptop, had been working fine. Then the other day, while it was running off the mains it just died. Could not power it up at all. No lights on. Tried a different battery and power supply and still the same. Have tried everything to get this machine powered up.

Do you suspect faulty system board?

I'm not familiar with the innards of this laptop but I'd check the US Dell site for the parts/stripdown manual, there may be a separate power/charging board.
