I use a fully unattended automated Windows 2000 Professional install process for corporate desktop and laptop deployment. I've run into a problem where ATI doesn't provide the video drivers and I'm forced to go through Dell directly to obtain them. This is well and good however Dell did not provide a means to automate the setup of the drivers. Instead, they provide a setup.exe which according to Dell Tech Support, has to be installed manually. This methodology doesn’t work well for mass deployments and Ghost is well....ghost.
Has anyone found a way to automate the installation of the ATI Mobility M7 drivers for Win2K Pro on the Dell C640 without having to use autoit or 3rd party software? I'd prefer to use my $OEM$/drivers directory structure like I do for everything else.
Thanks in advance...
