Okay I need some help really bad, here's my scenario:
This past weekend, we had an Unclassified MS Exchange Server (Dell 6300)lose it's RAID 5 configuration, hence losing email on the E: drive. We did not have a
current backup, so we lost about a weeks worth of email.
Their are seven drives in the RAID 5 Configuration. It is using Dell's RAID 5 Hardware solution. The system lost its RAID configuration, none of the HDs actually failed. We can see files out there, but they are either empty or corrupt. It looks as though the NTFS partition lost its
table, or went corrupt.
PLEASE HELP !!!

Is the raid card failing - beeping or anything ?

If not can you enter the raid controller setup by pressing cntrl <M> at boot, go into view/add configuration menu in here and see if all the drives across the raid are still being seen ?

Does the card prompt you to look at either the nvram or disk configuration ?

thanks for the reply and if anyone else has any input on my problem I would greatly appreciate the feedback ASAP!!
