Dell 6300 Netware 4.11 to 5.1 upgrade failure

I have a Dell 6300 running Novell with PERC2 controller I attempted to perform a Novell 4.11 to Novell 5 upgrade. I booted to the Netware 5.1 disk and loaded the latest PERC drivers. The system selected a MEGAxxx driver instead of the PERC. I unloaded the MEGAXX and replaced it with the PERC driver. The Novell upgrade did not mount the raid and load sys.

Any suggestions?

Does the system work with the MEGAxxx driver loaded? IF so, proceed with this driver. If it does not, try the old drivers. The system obviously chose the MEGAxxx driver for a reason??

After the server has been properly migrated to NW5.1, then apply your new drivers and it should be ok. -----------------------------------------------------

Yes, I did accept the default megaxxx driver and it does not work.

I tried the PEDGE, and PERC2/3 drivers as well. It finds the correct slot, but not the sys volume
